Kent/Sussex/Surrey meet 10th March

Been on here a few months now and can't remember seeing a thread for a meet yet.  I know there are a few of you in this neck of the woods so how's about it?  Obviously I'm not volunteering to sort this as my organisational skills are woeful.  Besides, I haven't been to one yet so I wouldn't know what to plan/expect

Just thought I'd get a post up to get a few people thinking and maybe come up with ideas for a date and place.
I know about the possible show and shine at Brands Hatch but my rust doesn't shine so I can't go.

Theres also a club gti meet at patching Fox Inn pub 1pm last Sunday of every month.

Dubstar, Wooders, Flog, 1stgolf (I think you're Belvedere way).  
I don't know SE London too well but I'm up for a meet.  Of course my tatty cabbie will put you to shame (  :wink:  ) but it will be good to meet up.

Anyone got any suggestions for locations?  As said in other thread it might be an idea to do it near kent/sussex/surrey border as there should be a lot more interest.  Or we could just have a smaller meet?  What are your thoughts?

My car wont be up and running untill end of Feb/March time? as I think the other guys cars are all having work done on em too?

I should have new wheel bearings, rear drums, alternator, cam and fan belt by then so its guaranteed to make the short trip (touch wood :pray: )

There is a meet on the last wednesday of the month at The Moat pub on wrotham hill just off the M20. I am going tonight, unless it gets any bloody colder!

Will be up for a meet in March as well if anyone has any ideas. There is always The Grasshopper in Westerham on the A25. It has a huge car park and does food.

westerham sounds good to me. it'll be a nice jaunt and it's near enough for sussex folk too.

I'm definitely up for that, as of yet I've not actually met a single member from this club in person  8O  Living in Sittingbourne, so virtually anywhere around the M2 / M20 is very easy to get to for me.

Looks like we got ourselves a good old fashioned meet!

For those who don't know, The Grasshopper Inn is on the A25 between the M23 and A21.  Its only about 15 mins off the M25 from either direction.

I reckon either midday for a spot of lunch or 2 or 3pm.  I'll give them a call tomorrow to find out a bit of info as they seem to have a few car meets there.

I've only met 4 people from the forum (at the NEC Classic Motor Show) so it would be good to put some (forum) names to faces.

By the sounds of it, someone will have to tow 1stgolf down though!
