Kent Area

Hey all

Whose the moderator for the kent area???? Thought it may have been drew but does'nt reply to my messages so dunno if he's still around!

Wandering if theres a kent mk1 owners club meet at all?  I know that there are other club meets in the area which i'm sure i will attend but be nice if we had an official kent meet for here and the kent mk1 owners.

Any news is good news!

few of the lads go to brands hatch prept. it's in the regional meets forum. shame we don't all go at once.

Wooders why dont you take up the challenge and become regional co Host??
if your interested then pm me and can get it sorted the area would cover Kent, Surrey, East & West Sussex. you could try and take on the NW region for the quality of meets

I think we all tried this one before, it turned out that the guys from e38 Ryan started "dubstars" meet at Sidcup, we al got banned from there due to some twat in a Beemer doing burnouts on the grass!!

Then moved to Bluewater for a while before getting chuked out of there due to Corsa saxo idiots!!!

And now at Brand hatch "Prept" German Refinary meet every last Wed of the month, not entirely Mk1 but you get a good mix and its such a chilled meet, come down its ?2 @ the door but it keeps all the chavs  :wink: out!!

You could always do a meet like we have now and then Just meet at a pub have a bite soft drink cruise to another pub in the countryside in convoy I would never organise a meet at a public Cruise that's just asking for trouble and could bring the club into disrepute if some idiot in a tarted up Ford fester is doing do-nuts and the filth turn up and you get kicked off

if you think about your meets there is loads you could do from going Go- Karting like we did, raising cash for a charity etc just needs imagination and the more you think and do the better the meets will be and here is the proof this was a NW meet Last Friday Night to Blackpool 13 mk1s on parade
Had chips then cruised through the lights.

Well as Franky (Dubstar74) as stated above you are all welcome down at Prept, the more the merrier. If you want i can reserve a plot for you all if you give me an idea on numbers in advance. plus i'll hopefully be joining you all soon with my very own little mk1 can't wait    
The Paint scrapers had probably the best club turn out to date last month with twenty odd air-cooled gems all lined up outside the megastore,pure class, and closely followed by the R32 owners club with 18, so these are your targets to beat! (only joking)
