Glos/S West meet 6th December 12noon

After a not too great November meet, we're all coming back for more and the next meet at the Air Balloon pub is on Sunday 6th December at 12noon.  

We're still a new meet and it would be great to really get it on the map.  

This meet we'll be looking at getting some convoys to visit other meets and some shows in the new year.

If you have any suggestions of other meets we could go and introduce ourselves to and see their little beauties or if there are any shows that you're thinking of going to next year, come along and we'll get them in the calendar.

Ultimate Dubs is in March and it would be great to get a convoy of our local Mk1's over there.

It's difficult when turn out is poor, but keep perserveering guys, your doing a great job.

I've been after another mk1 for ages and I've managed to get my hands on a campaign, so will be picking it up in the next few weeks.  I'll be there at your December meet and can't wait

We'll look forward to meeting you and having a good look at your new Mk1!  

We've got some ideas for next year and we've already meet some really nice peeps and their cars have been amazing.

Sounds good, I'm meeting a guy from Cheltenham next week who's buying some bits from my Mk1, so I'm going to see if he wants to come along as well.

Any chance the Swest region page can be updated?  It still advertises the meet as Taunton and the pic is at least 3-4 years old.  I know, as I'm the one in the red jacket

I'm a mk1 owner again Picked her up today as she is in amazing condition, exception being the tailpipe fell off 10 miles from home 8O I'll get that sorted and bring her to the next meet.  Here is a pic of her…

Back box ordered.  Filler neck appears quite rusty, so going to need to replace that, so funds will be a little low for insurance.  I might have to come long to the meet in something non-vag :?

Car now insured, bits to be fitted today, but sadly i won't be ble to make this meet.  Reason being my wife has just had  baby girl and i have to take my son Matthew to a birthday party at 11am…totally gutted, so so sorry…aarrrgghhh!!!
