Four Ashes Classic Car meet **Thursday 2nd August**

Touch wood the weather will be kind, if it is, then pop along to the Four Ashes pub for a great evening of classic Cars, live entertainment, a nice pint and even better burgers and chips  8)  8)

The Four Ashes pub is just south of Penkridge on the A449, accessible by either M54 junction 2 and heading up the A449 towards Penkridge or M6 junction 12 and taking the A5 towards Telford then at the next roundabout turning left onto the A449 towards Wolves.

So it's:

Thursday 2nd August
7.00pm onwards

If the weather is kind, then expect over 200 classic cars at this meet, with a wide variety of tastes  8)

Yes, I did go  8)

Didn't get to examine the baps as the queue was huge, maybe the baps were causing the queue  :mrgreen:  :wink:

Was 200+ cars there on Thursday night, the sun was beaming down and 4 Mk1 Golfs(including mine) were in the mix

I take it you was the guy with the blue golf next to mine?  Was good to meet you.  I cant believe I'd never been to four ashes meet before, I only live in willenhall so not too far.  Its a really good meet, would be nice to see a few more vw's but it the complete mix of cars and bikes was nice.  Really friendly atmosphere.

I shall go again.

Good to speak to you, yeah a few more VW's would be good, but then again it is nice to see something different to what is at  VW meets :wink:
