This years show has a new organising team, new look, new feel, but similar format to previous shows.

Bigger and Better!

The show will still be held on the school field in Stansted, but this year the proceeds will be in Aid of Essex Air Ambulance

Hoping we can get some interest to put a club stand together here!

My golf will be there

This is a roll call for all your MK1 owners in the essex herts area.

I'm trying to allocate space for club displays and I feel I need to point out that the MK1 Golf Owners Club display as far as I am aware currently consists of:


jdr in his Fiat Punto
dub vader (who has to be there because he's helping organise it)

I hope there's more of you intending to come along ????

Debs has it in hand.  Wont be there myself, racing at C Combe that day.

Hoping that we can get a good turnout!

If anyone's planning to be there can you reply on here so we can start getting an idea of numbers please


 

less than 3 weeks to go…   renegade dubs are your nearest watercooled rivals for a club stand trophy and they've got 10 tickets prebooked and are expecting more on the day.

do you really want to be outdone by a bunch of Mk2 owners???

I have pencilled it in on the calender.
Don't think I will make it in my Cabriolet.    

Hopefully give me a bit of inspiration to keep going.    
Is it an all VW show or just certain models?

Hi Debs, hope all is well, I might be able to attend this but I will be in a mk 1 Jetta  8O Would I still be allowed on to the club stand ????

You will all hate me, I've got worse………..I now regularly use my cabbie with it's (once) white interior to transport rescue hens to rehomers!!!  :mrgreen:

Nah, they're scraggy ex battery girls with no idea what the world outside a shed is all about yet!…………

……….But it also means I get to whizz my car up to Norwich, and to other places for all the fundraising at farmers markets!!

Clubs can arrive from 9am, Gates open at 10am

Yep pay on arrival ?6 each, kids under 12 free.
