would you be interested in placing your car on rivage register I have going?
is there a mk1 cabriolet section? or are we lumped in with the mk1's all together?
will look out for you… was following your camper thread too…

Ment to do get on the register with you.
Last year every one parked where they wanted, inside has to be booked.
dont know what the plans are this year but always like the mk1's and other mk's in there own groups.
Some say mixing them up gets you round all the cars, i dont mind either way as long as the sun shines.
will drop a thread on the clubgtini site to see if they have any info ref this.

Just a though do you guys fancy a convoy in, could meet up at Sprucefield or anywhere else you know,Im coming from the other side of Belfast but happy to meet up on the day.
Only thing that will put me off if the weathers really bad, (wee leak in roof LOL) but it would need to be really bad on the day.

Straight road up through Newry up the dual carrage way (no speeding cameras every where you have been warned) then to Sprucefield (Marks+Spencers) just outside Lisburn, from there down motorway to Belfast and cut off to the Kings Hall.Pretty straight forward.
Have started an other meet thread on the clubgti.ni site ref meeting points.
Sprucefield would be one of the main meeting points on that side of Belfast.

Yes - I'd be up for that. There have to be a load of mk1 in the south. Vag drivers has a list of some 80 cars or so…

Yes I'm just back on the road from 1st march. I bought a h&r anti roll bar kit so hope to change that before dubshed. Also got a fuel filler neck and badge refurbishment to do. The polish will be done last… Prob the sat before I head up… Lol
