Carlisle VW meet July 22nd 4:00pm (Cumbria/Lake District)

Hi,
We have arranged a meet in Carlisle @ 4:00pm on the 22nd July at the 'Border Gate' Pub just off Jct 42 on the M6. This will be the first of a regular meet to congregate the VW enthusiast within the area. Please let me know if you would like to attend as trying to get an idea of numbers, All VW's/VAG welcome or just turn up on the day. The pub has decent cheap food and a large car park area. If you have any parts to sell bring them along, should be a good Sunday afternoon.

I would be interested in attending one if it was anywhere near Barrow-in-Furness.  I know at least one member lives in Ulverston.

There must be more people in the Cumbrian area out there, if you know of someone up this way who might be interested or you fancy the road trip please let me know

Id be interested, Im about 15 miles North of Carlisle on the A7, at the moment though, Liz's Campaigns awaiting restoration and my Caddy's having an engine transplant (maybe done in time though). Keep me posted.

Missing a few members of our club due to works in progress and holidays hopefully next month you'll be on the road you know who you are but i'll name you anyway: Ken, Patch, Greame, Izon, Dan, Mike, Ste V Dub, Giles, Kriss, Old Fart, Dublove etc. Who said VW were reliable?
