BRISTOL meet ?

Hi Guys

If im treading on anyones toes please let me know  

Ive noticed there are a fair few people joining up from the BRISTOL area lately and wondered if maybe we could get a meet pencilled in?

I know VAG owners meet up once a month in Bristol, so be good to meet with them as well, anyone know when there next meeting is?

Also i though, if we could all at least get togehter in Bristol and meet, then maybe we could all (those that are interested) go up to one of the following gloucester meets?

my cars a bit porely and going in for some TLC any day soon, but my suggestion would be maybe the downs on a sunday afternoon, or another location ?

if people can post up then maybe we can send a group message around and get something sorted?

Also maybe this could produce a good turn out for Bristol Volksfest

iv been asking the same questions for weeks!

count me in my tintop is looking a little tired but iv only had it a few months and its my daily so doing it a bit at a time

lol, im sure the list will build slowly, think there's a few with cabbys that arnt coming out of hybernation for another month or so

my intention was just to tax mine march - sep then declare it sorn, but i payed out for the tax for the nxt 6 months hoping for a dryer winter and used it twice !

ahh mines a nice old tinny no need for winter hibernation

and the paintworks shabby any way lol

Picking new shoes up for the cabby this weekend, it's gonna be very difficult not to get her out of hibernation early and make her shiny!

Gloucester meet first sunday of every month up at Birdlip, but I know a few of them will travel a little further down the M5.

i saw a few people out the other night, couple of cabbys but couldnt follow them as i was picking the other half up from work… grrrrrr…

Just let me know when.  Sunday afternoons good for me, but not this coming Easter weekend.

OK, I could do Sunday 11th after 2pm or Sunday 18th after 2pm.  I won't have the Golf taxed in April  I'm booked up the rest of April!

If we pushed it to Sunday May 2nd this could be better?  My motor will be taxed, I won't have the nipper and it's the same date as the Gloucester/SW meet, so we could choose a location more central to suit all?

May 2nd for me.  Perhaps meet up and go visit the SW meet then.

Hmm, convoy up the M5 could be fun?

yeah im up for then. mine wont be done but then again im not expecting it to be done till end of summer

still tryin to get more people to the new Bristol meets

there really isnt any mk1 owners any more in bristol… or so it seems…

i do pass a caddy every day and i might drop a card on his window soon, see if he wants to join this ste, and the new meet

I saw a white mk1 between portishead and Weston super mare last weekend. It was a lovely low one. Is it anyone's on here?
