blackpool illumnations

i'm putting this idea about on a few forums now, i have been thinking of trying to organise a big multi forum convoy thriugh blackpool illumnations, would anybody be interested?

We did this last year and went for a chippy tea in St Annes before hand. It was a great evening.

We tried to stay together all the way through but did end up getting split up somewhat. It was the first night after all.

I know the local forum 'Unphased' also went on a run there too but not on the first night.

It was an event already planned to be repeated this year in any case but I like your thinking…. have you got any other ideas for days/ nights out??

ah ok, well if it's already an iron in the fire so to speak, i wouldn't mind having a peice of the action too, i would love to get all the forums i am on combined to do this as a mega meet type of thing, and no i wouldn't chance it on the first night, tooooo busy

as for other ideas, we have little shindigs on every now and again with our forum, VolksAction.com we just did an easter special, we had a meet at 4pm then at 6 went for some food, then 7 went bowling, all that took part said they enjoyed it imensly, we have the meets on a saturday so anyone that would like to go for a drink is able to do so, if you are from out of town there is a hotel on the complex where we hold the meets so you have the option to stay over if you wanna get balddered, and there is also a policy of kids welcome so if you have yongun's they can join in too, there are plenty of areas to eat on the complex as well as a cinema and bowling alley, we only hold the bowling 3-4 times a year so as not to wear out the enjoyment, but you are more than welcome to come to a meet and have a reccy

we meet in manchester, at a big complex, last sunday of every month, not an overly large meet but it's picking up now the suns coming out
