Just been reading the BBC local news and guess what ……………

I go every year if I can for the fish and chips!!!

definetly count me in for this if the golf passes its m.o.t(same week), but would be a fantastic drive. ooh, lots of mk1's under shiny shiny lights!

Are you going in the golf though? I'm not too fussed about going but i will go if there is going to be a convoy of golfs through the lights

Im going to come to this going to offer Richard hammond I ride in my golf. love blackpool is eveyone going for the day of just the lights? Will prob go for the day

Its a Friday night isn't it? So I'll just be doing the night.

The lights usually come on around 9pm. We wont be able to get anywhere near the 'Big 3' cause its all pedestrianised up at North Pier so we'll have to decide if we want to be in the crowd or on The Strip when the lights come on.

Its the time issue at the moment. I can't really hang on to a title that I can't give 100% to. It means that the meets aren't heald regulary and the co-ordination isn't as good.

I've handed over to A5OPY for now but will still be around to boost number etc!!!  :wink:

There is a fish bar in St Annes which is very good and the one at the bottom of Coral Island isn't bad either and its next to a car park!!!

theres no way i'm parking at that car park, its always packed, last time i was there for a big do in blackpool it was just stupid, if i'm parking it'll be prob. be at the pleasure beach car park(out the way(reasonably)). i just know i'll park next to the tw T who does'nt care what his car door hits…

yeah its always packed in there. My choice would be to view the lights etc and drive out to St Annes where we can dine in relative luxury, either in the cras or the cafe attached to the chippy!!!

Drive through sounds the best option and the fish bar sounds even better. Dan can you put a map up of where this fish bar is and is there a car park near to meet up in?
I will start the ball rolling with the register of folk wanting to attend
