I might just come down this time, been meaning to for a while. See if the rust bucket can make it out there. need some informed guess work on a couple of things.

I really want to make it to another one of these, however I will away snowboarding (for the first time) so I can't make it.

It would be nice to see everyone's cars in the daylight at some point too! 8)

I was gonna come down but i was in Madrid…as i'm no longer selling my cab     and as long as the work is done and i'm in the country i will meet you all in April!

ahh bugger, i just realised I forgot to mention the compressors….I brought them down to reading a few weeks ago then took them back to my parents as i'm about to do my head…back there in a week or so hopefully ops:

Ooooh yes a 1.2 hib motor would sound and go great in a Mk1.  I've got a hilarious vid of a fiat 500 with a yam 900 engine bolted where the passenger seat was  I'll email it to you.

Yes only 1.5 but I chicken out at 95 !  And only an Auto.

Of course It's a MK1 so flys around corners  

Right, now i've sorted my firewall settings so i can post again…

It was good to see some old faces and new faces (to me, anyhow) last week. Looking forward to next month… Might even be able to get the top down next time
