4th SW Meet Pictures

Can you believe it this is now the 4th meet and it just keeps getting better each month, with more faces and people even spending over 2 hours to get there,

And yes we now have the Record for 7 mk1s at one show,

    It was a bit faster coming up in the old MK2 than it would be in my MK1! Maybe next month a few of the lads can meet me at home so I can bring the MK1. Don't fancy our chances pushing it down the M5 though! :mrgreen:  :mrgreen:

Good to see so many MK1s out. Hopefully mine will be one of them before too long, but until then it will have to be the trusty MK2 :roll:

Really sorry I didnt make it, I had every intention of coming until I had a run in with several pints and chasers last night!!

Daisy it was a 207mile round trip! THATS COMMITMENT. Anton & co should be ashamed and made to forfeit at the next meet.

Ive already got to miss the next meet as well, it was a difficult decision but a week in New York kind of won it for me!!  Fair play to everyone that did make it, looks like a good turnout.

Rajan it was very nice i asked him if i could buy it, but i didnt have a chance, Frank has owned it for 20 years and there was one owner before,
10 years ago he had it fully restored to a very high standard and it has been in a garage ever since, 100,000 on the clock and the engine has never had any work done, all original and in mint condition all apart from the nasty fogs,

Very good car in that condition which are very hard to find, you should know you own most of them :wink:

I still think we should hold the meet at my house     I might actually gat to make one then !! :wink:  :wink:

Damn fine looking bunch of mk1s there matey boys!!!  Gutted i couldn't make it.    I had bad flu. Doug recons it could have been bird flu!!!  I thought not, but then i've been pulling feathers outs my rear n startin to look like Big Bird..damn odd!!!!  Oh yeah, don't diss the northern possy, as us northerns always have the nicest cars n the sweetest women lol.

Nice result Daisy for spearheading the SW meet. Shame I couldnt make it, especially as it takes me all of 5 minutes to attend the venue. Good effort all and some great looking motors. Hope to see you all next time.

What do you have against northerners? I live in southwest, glos, so its a bit far.  Thats why i aim to pop along to a Swest meet soon. 8)
