2nd Central Scotland Regional Meet

Apologies for the delay in confirming the next central region meet, after conducting the poll it was suppose to be held beginning / mid of July but due to various things it will now be taking place in August.

Thought I'd keep the same venue as it was fairly central and easy to get to for the folk that attended last time. (with the exception of MK1Allan)
 
As mentioned before, the parking is free on site, there is a petrol station next door (for those that forgot to fill up before they left…) and a place to get some food (coffee & bacon rolls were nice  :wink: )

Obviously, the meet is open to all MK1 owners, not just those from the central area.  

Also, if your not able to turn up in your MK1 and have alternative transport then please feel free to attend.

al try my best to make bit of a bloody trek tho, and why kincardine surly  somewhere like west side of Edinburgh, Livingston or east side of Glasgow would be better.

Indeed, it is a wee bit away however, I'd tried to come up with a venue that was equi-distance between the main areas. Its a short trip along the M9 from Edinburgh, likewise along the M876 from glasgow & its not too far from the kingdom of fife etc for folk to attend also.  
Not sure to what extent the 'central region' covers so went for somewhere in the middle….  :dontknow:

Had thought about Falkirk / bathgate but don't know those areas well. I'd been to the Travel Inn at Kincardine thru work & it seemed to tick all the boxes. Will keep it there for this meet but if anyone has any other venues that we could use in future then please let me know

It cant be that far for all you guys, its 92 miles for me!  :y:

something has come up on the 30th August & I won't be able to make that date hence, I'm proposing to move the meet forward to the 16th August (same time / venue etc)  

Hope that doesn't inconvenience anyone & my apologies for the switch - life's a bit crazy just now….  :roll:

Sorry i wont be able to make it. I just realised the touring cars are at knockhill that weekend. This is the second meet in a row I'll miss

Only just noticed that myself the other day, bad planning on my part, should have checked what was on first  ops:

Originally it was meant to be on the 30th Aug, wish I could have kept it on that date.

Indeed, had booked my holidays off work a couple of months back & the 13th was slap bang in the middle of my 2 weeks  :roll: , however, after going to the travel agents early today , we booked our holiday & are now going on the 15th (hopefully my boss will let me change the holiday dates or the wife will be going away on her own)  If you are going to be attending the meet on the 13th would you be interested on being on the club stand?

No problem There will be plenty more meets to go to in the future. Im sure your putting a lot of effort in to it so good on you for organising the meets :y:
