1st vw show....

Hi folks,
went over to bathgate vw show on sunday,some great stuff on show.A little disappointed there wasn't some older mk1 golf's,also not much mk1 stuff for sale,did any body else go! how did you rate it.Is there any more shows coming to scotland next year,my project coming along slowly but surely…

I thought it was good but thats only becauseI haven't seen another mk1 other than mine for ages. great to see so many in the one place…well 10 maybe (tin tops) Quite a few people were disappointed but I will be going again next year.

I was disappointed that I came home with no mk1 parts

The more people keep going and spreading the word on here and elsewhere then the bigger the meets get…. hard work but it's how they all start… hang in there.

True. i thought it was a good show and I recommend it to anyone in the area. Any place with mk1's is a good place so its got to be worth it

I'm way down in England bud but experienced something similar down here.  It's either keep going to the VW ones or take the regional mk1 meet instead of a big VW meet then THAT will grow… up to you lads.

Well im going to try and get to as many shows etc as I can next year.
