** THE NW CAR TREASURE HUNT 2009**
:cheer: Well boys and girls this is it the event of 2009. The North West massive are holding the clubs 1st ever competitive Car Treasure Hunt and ALL are welcome :cheer:
This event is a must
The basics are this the Treasure Hunt will take place on Sunday 25th January at 10:30am.The starting point will be The Reebok Stadium Bolton.
The event should last about 2 hrs and will cover approx 40ish miles depending on how good you and your crew are at solving the clues  It would be wise to have at least 1/2 a tank of fuel just in case
The object is to follow the instructions :read: and find the answers to the clues.
There will be things to collect along the way for bonus points.
If you do it in a Mk1 there will be an instant 10 points awarded 5 points for any VW and -10 points for anything the judges deem as chavish
This is a family event.
You will need at least a co-driver to read and help find the clues,
Strictly NO :naughty: single drivers allowed for safety reasons.
Points will be deducted if you go round the coarse in under the allowable time so no point speeding and points added for correct time taken & mileage.
The finish point will be a family friendly pub that serves food and it will be there that the awards ceremony will take place.
There will be an entrance fee per car of ?5.00 this will be to cover the prize fund and any surplus cash will be put into club funds.
Please get your names down ASAP as we may be limited to numbers on the day due to each car setting off with a time difference we could end up running out of day light.
So who's up for the challenge, all are welcome from far and wide to pit their clue solving skills???
This event is open to ALL you don't have to be a club member to take part :y: just a road legal car…

Bumpity bump!!!!
Don't forget this one folks. It should be a good morning out, especially if its nice and frosty. There is some great scenery where the route goes, good for car photos.

Count me in :y:
However, the wife's on nights so it'll be me and young Archie as co-pilot!! As he'll only be 20 months old at the time of the event his map reading skills may not be upto scratch! Although his sense of direction is better than some I know!!
May need a grown up helper, any volunteers????
Mark Thatcher need not apply
Otherwise I'll just come to the Reebok, or do you need any volunteers A5OPY to assist??

For all those that are coming we will meet directly behind the stadium not the front which is nearest the main road when you get to the round-about where the trophy like sculpture turn down on the retail park first set of lights turn right and there we will be at the back of the stadium you cant miss us
