My vr6 project and mk4 1.8t

Post

Hi all i saved this vr6 from being scraped, it was sat down the road from my house for a year or so.
so one day i went and knocked on the door and ask about it, the guy ( in his 50s ) told me he was going to scrap it as it has no mot or tax and has not been used in a year or so,  after a look around and a cup of tea a deal was made i got it for 200. Got it back to house and jump started it, fired up on second try and sounds well.  Left it running for a bit to see if any probs came up but all is well.
It has done just over 100000 on clock and is in need for the body shop.

here are some pics of it

not really got any mod plans for it apart from sorting body work, service and mot which is this friday,  so as soon as it is done i will post what needs doing.

the other car in the pic is my 1.8 t.  Had it for a few years now and i am the second owner, it has done 86000 and has full vw history.
done some mods to it which are forge dv, lowered on coilovers, mk7 18 inch alloys, full respray, matt black grill and wing mirrors, bora vents, boost gauge in vent, wheel spacers, pressed plates, front mount intercooler and a few other little bits.

here is a pic

cheers for looking and any comments welcome.

you got a bargain on the vr6, you will get over what you paid for just by selling the climate control

Yeah not so common option that. Mine had it - worked well   Bargain for 200 notes, despite the bodywork needing doing that's a mighty fine find!!

MK4 looks good too
