my good lady gets back to a golf

my wife reckoned her mini cooper was no longer just just practical enough , liking more room and extra doors , but i reckon she wanted to get back into a golf again,so this wee wagon arrived home last night , had a trip over to scotland for it ,all the golfs mk1 mk2 and now mk6 have been bought over the water ! :?

Very nice, Mrs Early had one of those, her was a bogo standard 2 litre Diesel 110bhp 5 speed and still did an easy 55mpg+ without trying. Had an habit of stalling very easily at junctions or roundabout and the heater controls are a terrible design only really visable if you heads down by the gearstick. Over about 2 and half years and 50,000 miles it was 100% reliable until….. a few days before it went back the exhuast particle filter started causing warning lights to go off.
