building a monster for my shed

So 1st I will tell you a bit about my self my name is dan im 22 and im addicted to mk1s! It all started when I was  16 i went into mechanics and started an apprenticeship witch after 3 years and are lovely governments cutbacks provided me with 2nvqs and an apointment at the jobcenter fortunately id got my 1st car at this point a polo 86c breadvan for the princly sum of £40 and a tube of rolos that cept me busy for a mounth or so C:\fakepath\188644_1623833880345_2870932_n.jpg   C:\fakepath\240413_1735849000653_3088821_o.jpg this set up my bug for vws after a frend had a 1.3 mk1 golf and let me have a go I was bitten and need one so I started saving then what turned into a stroke of luck happend I got hit by a cyclist resulting in a dislocated sholder and a lawsute with ther resulting compensation I bought my mk1 (lucy) after an event free drive from whales and 3hours of relentless grinning I had my very own mk1 gti tintop  C:\fakepath\1017573_10200222255503689_1273468055_n.jpg after a re mot and some tax she drove perfectly she had what I was told was a 1.8 and she went like it ive bean in fast cars and driven them but nothing seems to make the hair stand on end like her lol after 6 mounths and a lot of fun I decided I wanted some more power this resulted in a trip to the scrap yard and resulted in an abf lump with my plans set I desided to turbo it and run it on mega squirt after a mounth off the road and a lot of scraped knuckles it was complete and on the road lots more fun was had and then a blown motor resulted along with redundancy from were I was working at the time the gti motor was put back in at this point and she went onto weekend duty as stress release she was used most weekends after getting a new job she was back on the cards for a full build on the abf but I desided I was going to do the body work 1st and get it to my ocd level of workmanship (when I can see my face in the underside it will be redy) I new she was going to need rear valence and a scuttle so they were ordered the car was striped this is when the disappointments began rust rust rust the drivers side was fine but the pasinger side was a mess she had taken a hit the inner wing is bent and the a piller as well the rust had taken hold and I was insure what to do leaveing me with this  C:\fakepath\1011320_10200308669103975_1949001083_n.jpg to top it all off my polo then droped valve I then had to get a new daily resulting in this  C:\fakepath\20140611_151526.jpg so thats the story so far sorry for the lack of pictures as the phone I had at the time of the 1st build stolen hopefully the ones ive uploaded work thow
