Save by the look of those pics but without seeing the car in the flesh so to speak it's difficult to say for sure :)

Yeah, hard to say at the minute until you get a bit more stripped away, but it does look like it's going to be a lot of work O_o

I have spare doors, roof needs fixing too!

The plan is to try and get it running and take her for an mot…..and take it from there.

Hopefully it won't need too much welding!

Here is today's update, car didn't start….tried my spare battery, but I don't think that there was enough juice in that either. Put some fuel in, can't hear pump priming, so more investigation needed.

Got seats out and floor looks ok.

Car is now in the dry….so hope it will dry out.

The Info and pics are not a lot to go but…
I'm guessing you didn't fork out a lot for this one, so go down the road of 'save' until you get the news (good or bad) from the MOT!

Right now it's a few quid and time.
But I'm sure you know that anyway.

SAVE!  :ocf_emoticons__eusa_clap:

The plan is to save…..as it's a proper gti rather than a clipper (I know its sound odd, but I like the thought of it being a genuine gti) however if too many pennies need to go into it then I will have to break. Alarm etc seems to work (but could be linked to starting issue) electric windows work, bbs kit and mim wheels in good order, panels all look straight, roof is ruined and frame v stiff. Seats are good, some rear headrests I'd want to remove but overall good.

It currently owes me about £500, and only see it being worth £1500 with bits sorted, so don't want to spend much on sorting it…..as I need to fund my full rebuild!

Away this weekend so no progress updates for a few days.
