My MK1 ABA 2.0 with R1 Carbs ,from the Netherlands

Hi every one am Peter 38 year’s old proud MK1 owner…
I restored my MK1 last year painted in Miami Blue L51C .
Dropped another engine in it runs now on a 2.0 ABA fitted some R1 carbs 40mm.
Add a 279Gr camshaft, lightweight followers and stronger valve springs.
This is the short story ……. It took me 15 months to get it as it is now !

Not so good in writing English sorry ,so better start  with some pictures from my MK1

Your car looks stunning I have to admit and I'm normally not that crazy about Mk1 with Mod's but yours looks fantastic.

Hi Lhasa,
Yes the height is right biggest problem with this height is my exhaust at the back !!!
He let me know when am in the neighbourhood with deadly speed bumbs the love them in Holland  

Here you can see what i mean with the exhaust as one of te lowest points of my car.
