Tried to trace the car but it's been untaxed since 1st June 2000.

Yeah I bought it around '93 but it had a lot work done to it: Mk2 2.0 8v engine, big bumper conversion, single wiper, Koni suspension etc.

Not bad for my first VW and I was trying to track it down but probably been scrapped now.
