Mk1 Golf doors

hi Guys,

i ve been doing my project now for the last 8 years. when i first started it i took everything apart. and i mean everything. now i am coming to the end of it trying to put it all back together, i cant remember how the doors go back together and what i need.

has any1 got an exploded diagram of the parts for the front door please?

Also i have the audi 80 handles on there any1 done this before? if so how are you attaching them to the door catch?

partbase.org has a very detailed diagrams of almost every part of the car. It helped me a lot during the restoration.

Sorry. About the audi door handles. i made them too. there's a catch. you'll have to remove the mechanism (cut it) and put the one from your mk1. PM me i will send you images tonight.
