Mk1 clipper project

Just picked this up for a good price of £2000, totally solid and fairly straight with only a few parking dings 

Its missing a few standard parts but that's where it gets interesting, the guy also had another mk1 and he was happy enough to let me have that too for an extra £200 so all in all I think I did pretty well especially as the cars were about 3 miles from my house 
I'll be cherry picking the best parts from both to make the black 1 a nicer car then wondering what to do with the blue 1, it's complete with only 83k on the clock and fairly solid, so I'm unsure whether to break it or sell it as a going concern 

Sounds like a decent purchase to me.

Personally I would put the second car back together and sell it on, you will make more selling parts no doubt but friends of mine have had cars hanging round for much longer than they wanted. I guess it depends if you have the time and space?

 I'll more than likely give it to my younger brother as he's been banging on about wanting another mk1 

Great looking Clipper! You really can't go wrong with an extra car when it's practically thrown in.

 I'll end up dong his up for him too, he's pretty clueless 😂

Picked these up yesterday including the rears, now to modify the mk3 runners to suit 

And in the mean time until I got the leather I've swapped the interiors of the 2 Cabby's I've got and put the grey in as it's a better contrast against the black bodywork, the seats were stinking so I got my trusty machine out, this machine has served me well over the years, the pictures speak for themselves,
