Mk1 Caddy BBM G60

Well i thought i do something to mark the start of this project…….and keep it off dam FACEBOOK!!

here is the car as i got it…………

Moved it to my workshop after deciding the NA 1.9 dirty diesel wasnt worth sorting………..when i had a 1.9 G60 lump sat doing nothing

First thing was to bin the awful alloys………just wacked on so 9"x16" borbets



And removed the monster rear bumper!! it put up a hell of a fight!! the bolt for the tow mount strut was under the checkered plate so was a right pain!!

next binned out the engine……………






But the more looked the more i found PIKEY short cuts…….. like the steering wheel was held on to the boss by WOOD SCREWS!!!! and there was several areas on the body that where roppy!

so this weekend i did some diging in these areas……here are the results
