Mk1 20vt Value

Hello All,

I know this is a stupid thing to do but i really dont know where else to ask as im not in the scene anymore and havent been for a long time. Im looking to sell my 1983 MK1 AGU 20vt but i have no idea what the thing is worth!

Its had loads of work back in 2017 as in a complete engine stripdown complete with all new gaskets t/belt waterpump etc and cylinder head skim and pressure test.

It had loads of welding done back in 2015 such as both inner and outer sills, inner wheel arches all the normal rust points.

I have extended the wiring loom throught the wheel arch and across the front cross memeber.

I will try and attach pictures but it is fully stripped with two bucket seats a CEA shifter Digi dash.

Bad points are the paintwork and trim and some rust around the sun roof.

I also have a Swollow tail rear end complete with original lights that i was going to put on it but im not now so whats that worth?

Really difficult to answer that.  Does it still run?

No expert mate but from what ive seen, not many people would want a stripped down 20vt on here but may be wrong.  Most seem to be standard-ish inside etc.  You could look for similar cars or just invite offers…. make sure you say "no silly offers or tyre kickers just genuine interest please".  Even if you dont take any of them it should give you an indication of what someone will pay because that's what its worth to them.
