Made a start

Finally made a start on stripping down the Gti, I plan to take it down to the bare shell, dash out, the lot, so far the car looks good, very little rust and waxoyl in all the right places, and the rust visible seems to be surface rust, well so far anyway, I have made a start on the engine too, so hope to have that out in the next few days, I'm toying with the idea of putting in a R32 engine into the car, I know this has been done before, but I'm wondering about how difficult this would be, I'm going to renew the door cards, new carpets,  new seats (leather with the Mk7 cloth in the middle), any links to any online vw spare parts would be appreciated, I've been looking at vw heritage and the like but I know there must be more out there, anyway taking the day off from it today !
