Loose wire

Sorry  double post,I thought I posted  here anyhoo I seem to have a loose wire in the boot it's beside hydro roof relay and it's hooked up to lots earths IMG_0625.jpeg

My fluid is below minimum where do I fill it from ? Can't see where there's an opening or some sort of cap. Can I use power IMG_0628.jpeg  steering fluid?

The purple wires are connected to the press studs both sides of the rear seat and disable the roof from closing when the hood cover is in place with the press studs connected.

You have to check the level with the roof open. You fill it through the bolt hole just above reservoir (bellow the yellow sticker). There is a specific hydraulic fluid, see https://vwgolfmk1.org.uk/forum/index.php?page=topicview&id=helllllpppp%2Felectric-hood-hydraulic
