Ive also managed to keep the 6speed gearbox out of a Cupra r. Custom mounts were made and i have everything to finish the car off. Just need an exhaust fabricating, braided fuel lines and do the hydro pedal box.

Can someone please give me advise on the hydro pedal box? What will be the easiest way to sort that out?

Thats a tidy car mate, very nice. I also need to sort a pedal box, I'm going to make my own though, using my mk1 pedal box and welding on brackets for the M/C etc. I know that Crazyquiff sells a hydro pedal box but it's not cheap.

Nice gearbox mount
Have you looked at the justcaddys hydro kit? I've just fitted one although haven't got the car fully back together yet and I still need to add fluid and bleed. The fitting was pretty straightforward although you do have to remove your steering column and exchange for a modified one

Really? Damn!!!! You got some pics? Yeh bought it with the custom mounts on alraedy, pretty cool having 6 gears and they all select 100% just need the clutch sorting. How much was yours?

The kit was £235 all in, including modified column with master cylinder, braided hose, slave cylinder that goes onto the gearbox and the reservoir and hose to connect to M/C. Basically everything you need. Not cheap but for me it was worth it as I don't have the skills or equipment to fabricate my own.
There's a couple of pics in my build thread (link in footer) of getting the old column out. Must update with a few more pics as I've done a bit more on the car since last update

No it's hydro clutch only. Retains the standard mk1 brake setup

Thanks! Definitely not rushing things, but a lot of that is not by choice. Don't get as much time in the garage as I'd like and this latest project - gearbox and hydro clutch - has thrown up various other niggles that I've wanted to take the opportunity to fix along the way. Hopefully back on the road within a fortnightquicksilver said

i want my clutch hydro and brakes. My pedal is fly by wire so the accelerator pedal will be mounted. Like you say it this section that makes you scratch your head. After this its sailing thru.
