Post

Back to the top
Evening

After months of searching for a MK1 Clipper, Sportline or Cabby GTI today i finally found one i liked and brought it hooray.

Bodywork it totally mint. its had a bit of money spent on it at some point which is fine with me :)Drove is back home 100 miles and it didn't miss a beat.. best 2 hours i had for a while :)

Not to sure about the wheels yet might change them to some BBS RA's at some point

Requires a few little bits for the interior but overall I'm well pleased..

Cheers for the comments guys… as I said I am very happy with it.

Going to get the belts changed on it in the coming weeks and get it serviced.. and do a few little bits to the interior.. etc but overall its pretty sorted..

On the service side, is this about right.

* Oil and Filter
* Air filter
* Spark Plugs and HT Leads
* Distributor and Rotor Arm

Going to get my local garage to do the belts. don't fancy that one just yet :)

Yeah my little boy wanted us to have a drive around with the roof down on Saturday :)…  he loved it..

Did you stick this in the wrong thread?  :lol: @hawkeysr

Sorry didn't realise you're the same person!  :lol:

Glad you liking it. It's a tidy car so bar the servicing, hopefully you can just enjoy it. Your son will be hounding to drive around with the roof down always now!  :cool:
