Felt rings for servo assist

Hi there, does anyone have a solution to replacing/sourcing the felt rings on the servo assist bar mechanism on gti's
The part number is  172721793 and obviously long obsolete.
What solutions have you guys come up with?

Hi Paceman. Yes that's what I'm going to do. I've managed to salvage 5 from a duplicate mechanism I'd forgotten I had….lol.
The VW diagram says that 6 are needed but in fact it's 9. I've ordered some quality felt as the craft stuff is to soft and doesn't hold its shape.
I have felt cutting dies from when I broached this issues a number of years ago. I will let you know if all works out.
