I have a diamond silver campaign with 86k miles.it has been sat in a garage for 19 years. I then had it on the road for 6 months and covered 600 miles, then it was put back in the garage where it has stayed for the last 3 years.
it is totally original with no rust what so ever.
any idea what it could be worth??

Nothing personal but I'm tired of guessing what cars look like, there condition and, and…
Back in the day I worked for VW etc…
So let me ask you a question which regular members to my posts will be familiar with.
I have a house with three bedrooms, please give me a rough price for it?
We need a heck of a lot more detailed information about the car including everything you know.
More photos the better, info from the V5.
We can then give you some guidance! 👍

If it's been stored in a really dry well ventilated garage then they can stay like that really well without deteriorating, mine did for 14 years.
The mileage is nice and low, but the key bit is the originality.
Most of the time when people say original they are just referring to the fact that it looks like it left the factory with no modifications, but you usually find they have been repainted, had trim replaced with copy parts etc.
So, if it is properly original ie the paint has never been resprayed, no scratches just a few stone chips, the plastic trim and interior has never been touched then this is when the price can get more interesting. Plus, no rust means nothing lurking under the underseal etc. The engine bay is it free from surface corrosion etc.
By now to be in that condition it will have had a pampered life, mine was used from new for six winters then only used in the summer and probably has been driven in the wet about six times since.
Having said all that the price band could be quite wide depending on how much work was needed to get to show standard, anything from £10k to £20k for a concours winner in my opinion but remember it really needs to be properly original and looking mint to fetch this type of money. I have seen solid original in the owners opinion but not to my definition go for 6k upwards. So as Mike says it's pure guess work without seeing the car.
Finally, if you are thinking of selling it really is down to finding that person who values proper originality over anything restored, no matter how good.
