Just embarked on my sportline restoration. A few of you may recognise her. I've had since 2009 but prior to that I think she had a few owners on here. Having moved house quite a few times in those 10years - tried my best to keep it garaged in the winter and maintain it best I could. However, after a 2 year stint in a garage unit in Kent - (that I found out had a leaking roof and poss would have been better off left outside in the rain!) I opened the doors to a furry steering wheel and enough mould to rival a stilton factory! So it was time to get her restored back to former glory.
So she's in the capable hands of Tim of Kustom Dubwerks. Here's a few pics of the initial strip down. Bodykit off, interior, glass and rubber seals out for a full inspection for any rust, damage or corrosion.
Luckily, all super solid other than front wings and front panel… just need to sort and then ready for some paint.
And then… refurbish roof, new rubber seals in windows & doors (why they so damn expensive!), few bits of trim, respray, electrics, some upholstery - anyone know anywhere to find the RARE recaro sportline material - I don't need much!
Depending on cash - Toying with the idea of cleaning up engine and getting bits, blasted, dipped, replaced. And the synchros need doing in the gear box But this may have to wait until I have more funds….!
I plan to keep posting updates as we go. If anyone has any parts they think i could do with - Get in touch (have created a posting in parts wanted)

Been a while since I've updated this thread but we're making progress. All corrosion on the car has been addressed including the front end, a patch on the front screen sill, and two new genuine wings (OUCH ££££! ) Other than the rusty wings and front end, rest of car very solid and straight and ready for the paint shop.
