83 gti project

After quite a few projects been taken on and never getting round to finishing them i decided to buy a daily and leave it standard and get myself a project. I toyed with the idea of buying a complete mk1 and just tidying up however i decided if i wanted it done i may aswel do it properly.

brought this off jamiegolf when it popped up for sale

Its pretty much a rusty shell with a few bits i plan on doing a full resto so trying to source as many new parts as possible

plans are pretty basic at the moment get the bodywork done

plans are to cut the inner arches and floor out in one peice and replace with mine as mine have seen their day also have a new rear panel to go in

hopefully have this engine in the next 2 weeks
