1985 Wolfsburg Special Edition

Please advise me on this my other Mk1 GTI…(I think)….For years I thought that I had a very unique 1985 MK1 GTI  1781cc fuel injection …a special edition Wolfsburg with all leather interior and white wheels. and sunroof and interior extras …Then a tosser of a Car Dealer told me it was not worth that much because it is only a Clipper that someone had "Tarted Up"….Please tell me this is not true and make an old man Really Happy….Barry

Thats a triple white cabby. leather seats aren't original, would of had striped white fabric with 1/2 leather but the fabric centres falls apart. Think they made them for a few years

Clipper was @1988 onwards

Would it be right to put a GTI badge on the grill or isn't  that correct for the model ??

The brochure shows red trim and gti badge which is what mine had
