1980 Cab GLI

 Hi, would somebody who knows a bit more than me about production runs/dates etc be able to tell me how early my cabby is?

 Reg is XUN 653V

 Was originally a 1.6 GLI but has had a  1.8 DX fitted at some point in the past. Car has only done 77k.

  Just some history of the car would b great, I dont know where to start!

V reg is 1981 iirc

In those days a 'V' plate (or anyother) ran from August to July Chris, if my memory serves me right. Which would be 79 to 80.
But I could be wrong and often am!
