1.8 kr engine mounts

Hi guys,

Recently bought a kr engine out of the mk2 golf gti 16v to put in my mk1 golf, I'm sure a few of you have done this so I am wondering what you did about the engine mounts as in did you cut them out on the engine bay and weld new or make the original mounts fit the engine? Any help and advice will be grateful

The mk1 mounts will fit the kr mate, no need to cut/weld anything, just remove the mk2 mounts and stick yours off your engine buddy.

Only mounts that change are when you go different gearbox routes with the 16v
