'86 cabrio gti

Thought i'd stick up a thread of my new daily as now its running again i've got the buzz back

86 gti cabrio
zender kit
coilovers
porsche teledials (hopefully changed for my borbet t's if they'll fit)

So far i've fitted new lift pump and main pump and changed the metering head, engine was completely re-timed as it was all over the place

still to do is, rocker gasket and sump gasket and just a general tidy up

Looking rather sorry for itself at the moment, hoping to have it back out in may 

Sorted the estorils out to a point im happy with
 

fitted all the gaskets mentioned above, no more oil leaks, just gear change to sort and get the fuelling set then MOT time in 2weeks

Air freshner in after many attemps to keep mirror stuck on
 

Wheels looking good buddy. Good luck with the MOT

Oh and that air freshener will add 5bhp

forgot to add she had fresh oil and filter, thermostat as there wasnt one fitted. replacement WUR, all new vac lines and a new filler neck

an ever shrinking budget is slowing progress.

MK1's do tend to have that effect on your bank account balance mate
