Have a look on e bay. I managed to pick a Hirschman one up for £16.00. Double check it will fit as the ariel tube lengths vary from models. So could foul on the bottom of the arch liner etc.

i have one. cant recall the make? think it was beru. £15 posted, was working fine when i removed.

I put in the Golf details and it states. This item does not fit VW Golf  MK I [1974-1993] 1.8 . As I put these type are too long in the body you need the shorter version.

I need a new aeriel, doesn't have to be electric but I want it to be black and not silver….
