Will I be fought off with pitch forks?

Hello everyone,

I've been lurking for a while but I'm now making the big commitment and saying 'Hello'.  Hello.  The problem is, I don't actually have a Mk1… or even a Golf, in fact I have a Mk2… and its a Scirocco!

Now hang on there… we're still rocking an A1 chassis here, so it's not all that bad!  Anyway, I'm currently half way through stripping it out and tidying a few bits up, I've got a new engine for it which will hopefully be dropped in soon (if not started), I'll be running it on Megasquirt and it will be orientated mainly at trackdays and the odd Sunday blast.  (I'm located in Manchester if anyone wants to help! :dontknow: )

So, what a lovely forum you have here.

Andy

All (well, most!!!) welcome on here but please support the Scirroco register as well. As much as we accept other A1 platform owners, the Mk1 Golf Owners Club doesn't want to take away revenue from other sites.

Enjoy our site and information though.

Well thanks for the friendly welcomes everyone. Hopefully over the near future I'll find out if there's any of you knocking about over Manchester way on.

Already a member of this lovely forum, very helpful indeed and a wonderful bunch of folks. I just can't get enough of all the info floating around these forums. Hopefully I'll be able to add to it at some point.

Cheers
