Whats this worth

Hello,
Sorry I know I have posted this message before but now I have the pics.
I have owned my karmann golf cabriolet GL for about 8 years now and when I brought it back then, golfs didn't seem to be as popular then as they are now. So I have got no idea whether mine is a good model to have nor any clue as to how much it is worth. I was hoping someone could give me some advice; it's a 1982 Karmann Cabriolet, pearlecent dark red(original paint), black hood(no holes),original interior(good condiction), alloys, automatic, 104965 miles, has all it's trim and badges etc.
I am thinking about selling her.
Thanks
Clara

price usually depends on the condition of the cabby. erm.... pay particular attention to any rust on the body and how well the engine runs. i got my cabby with all original paint and with no rust, hood just leaks a little it so u have the advantage there and i paid 800 for it. i suppose really it just depends how much you want for it.

I saw a crinkly peanut tomorrow

Hi there, unfortunately it appears our price guide does not refer to cabbies.

Spec wise it's a non-GTI auto which is not quite as desirable as a fuel injected 5 speeder. Main factors will be how good the mechanical bits are and condition of the body/structure (sills, jacking points, floor pan, spare tyre well, chassis legs, inner wings, arches, area where hood folds down into). Also how often has it been serviced etc and do you have any service history/MOTs etc. This is the buyers guide for the cab, but will give you an idea of key areas when selling and how they effect value.

Cheers
