well now got pics

i bought this couple month ago, it had not moved for 3-4 yrs, replaced the wiper motor, heater motor and new rubber flange on carb. took it for a mot, only needed front pads n front drivers side coil. well chuffed. but how do i put pics on  :banghead:

Car looks really good mate. You can sort that floppy hod out easy, just half open the roof and look for the straps attached to the outer hood, pass them through the inner lining and attach to the frame, you'll see where.

Welcome!  Nice to see another Cabrio join the ranks :y:  Might be worth having a look over at golfcabrio.co.uk as well which is a cabrio specific forum that only started a couple of months ago!

hi mate yeah seen it but brakes just gone spongy think i need a master cylinder, NOW

post a question in the tech forums.

but from my understanding if the pedal works  fine but then creeps forward under constant presure then that is likely to be the master cylinder.

if its just generally spongy could be air, leak or old fluid.

took it garage today, it`s the master cylinder bout one from a nice man in chorley ?20….bein fitted on monday   :lol:
