uploading pictures

Sorry for being a total thicket but could someone tell me how to get the picture of my car uploaded and so it appears when i post on the forum. i think it would be rude of me not to let you all see the 'beast' (and i love showing it off really!!!) :dontknow:

If it's a photo Avatar you're after to replace your cartoon style one :

-Go to 'Your Account' in the 'Tools' column on the left. Then 'Your Info' at the top.

-Scroll down to the 'Avatar Control Panel'. If you have the image stored in your computer's files (from a scanned photo or saved from a digital camera), then click 'Upload through forum file' next to 'Upload from your machine', then scroll down and click the 'Browse' button.  (I think the 'URL' option is if you have the image elsewhere, like on the 'Photobucket' website, which would have its own link?)

-Select your chosen image from your files and click 'Open', then 'Submit' on the Avatar control panel.

-The image has to be no greater than 80 pixels high, with a file size of no more than 6KB. You'll have to use 'edit' beforehand to adjust the size of the image before it will be accepted if it's any bigger. Have a fiddle about with the edit functions to try and downsize it!
