Introducing myself
Hi all,
I'm Jack, Thought i'd introduce myself after a few months of lurking.
New owner of a 1976 Golf L 3 door, tin top, RHD. 1.1 Lump with a massive 55k miles.
Picked up the Golf early October, Had been sitting for 10+ years. managed to get it started within a day. Well Happy!
Hope to be starting a thread soon with the build, been on here back and forth for the past few weeks to get some inspiration, there's plenty of it!
Will upload a few pictures, not sure how they will turn out but i'll give it a shot. :-)
Already took the rear bumper off at this point to see the extent of the rust.

It will get a part restoration, Exterior panels mainly. Slowly working my way into the interior as the dash/seats are pretty worn.
Keeping it stock other than coilovers and wheels… for now
