New to all this

 Hello!!! I have just bought a 1989 golf gti convertible that needs lots of work. I'm a mechanic and i fancied doing a whole restoration. I'm thinking about changing the colour of the body, interior and roof. The engine is sound and there isn't too much rust on it. Just fancied seeing what everybody thought about it? And what sort of upgrades people are doing?Cheers Chris
