Im living in Ireland.  recently found that golf mk1 that was used as a field car on farm bringing hay….( no comment)
Anyway it's got " a farm spec" which is really high suspension and and hitch….. and 1.9 sdi engine,  interior butchered so needs a lots of attention. Plan is to restore it cose it's worth it

What did it start off as?
Was it a GTI originally?

It just goes to show our cars can be work horses too

Welcome to the club. Where are you based?

We have our all Ireland meet in Kilkenny the last weekend in August. Be great to see another mk1 there.  

Thanks for help I'm in Limerick and so far car is used as a daily car with some sunny days some work is being carried out… Slow process but well worth it
