Newbie from North West

Newbie from the north west. I dont have a mk1 but im looking to get back into a mk1 after several years away.

1st car was mk1 1.6 GLS Auto W reg ending in EEC in Willow Green

Ive owned several mk1 GTI over the years both 1.6 and 1.8cc, couple of Mk1 drivers and Coco Convertible

Always loved the mk1 shape. Even considered importing a 10 year old Citi.

I currently have 3 mk2 in various states of repair, 2 Audi S3, Mk4 GT TDI and an A3 1.8t for transplanting into one of the mk2

Welcome, whereabouts are you based? 
In March we start getting together as the NW region for evening meets and possibly drives out.
