Hello from Essex

Hello!

Bought a 1990 Mk1 Golf GTi cabriolet today as a project - love it, but lots to do on the interior!

Thought I'd introduce myself as no doubt going I'm to be coming here with plenty of questions!

25 from Essex. First classic, and first project - hoping I won't end up out of my depth!

Car is a 1990 1.8 GTi cabriolet, saved from death-row by a colleague a few years back. It's had extensive external refurb, and I bought it off him to bring the inside up to scratch. It's still a work in progress, but looking forward to the challenge… just hoping my bank account can take it!
