Thank you all for the warm welcome, I loved all things VW since I was a little one, my grandad owned a bay window bus and a variant although I dont remember the exact models but I loved travelling in them. I recently bought myself a 2 door Mk1 Gti, the fellow that sold it didnt know it was a GTI as he advertised it is a GT, the vehicle has the original Kjet motor, metal wind up sunroof , MFA cluster and OEM MFA wiper stalk which were not normal spec for the mk1 GTI in South Africa and our cars here are normally 4 door. The vehicle unfortunately is not running thus my reason for joining the club to learn as much as possible...once I know how to load pics I will share this little gem I found...many thanks
