Wanna see my Genesis?

Hi,

my name is Chris, I'm German but living in Spain. I like Pi ña Coladas and long walks on the beach.
Be gentle with me, none of my grandfathers was a pilot  Anywho, I bought this heap last winter:





It is (was) a somewhat neglected 92 Genesis.

Now it looks like that:





Not quite ready, but soon. I shall trow together a thread about that in the right forum!

Welcome to the club first of all. 

By any chance are you a fan of Genesis?

Starting to look real good so what's next on the list to do?

Sadly I detest Genesis, so the stickers stay off it, though I had them made and put aside.

The plan:

Rebuilt head (sticky thermostat caused the headgasket to blow)- done
Full service- done minus brakes
Respray- done
New radiator- done
New shift linkage- done
Coilovers- done, on the cheap for now with crap-tastic TA-Technix. -40 front, -20 rear
Polish the wheels- done but need a finishing touch and clear powder
Leather interior- done
Ditch the four-eye grille for a chrome 1x1 3-piece grille- done
Black blinkers- on their way
GTI dash face and center console- in my garage
Nardi Monza steering wheel- done
New roof- done
New windscreen- done
All new seals for roof and doors- halfway through
Full stainless exhaust- still looking for a nice setup

That's all. Though I probably forgot half as parts are dirt cheap. I'm used to classic French car and Japanese 4x4 prices
