Sure am, did a failed project on a mk2 a while back and now I've got a second chance. Hope I do this the justice it deserves.

It looks like you two need some alone time!

Looks cool from the article. Will be watching with interest to see what you do with it, erm as regards the car not during your alone time with the car  O_o

Thanks guys I'm just feeling the vw love :)

I would love to keep her the same but I can't. I have my own vehicle wrap company and this will be a project for us, I know this won't go down well with most of you guys but the original paint work will be protected.

Exterior will be going Apple Candy red with a black hood, black and red tartan interior with some 16" rs.

I will start a thread as soon as I get her in the workshop and look forward to you guys helping out when I'm sure I'll have some issues.

I think the colour combination sounds really good, can't wait to see it.

As sad as it'll be to wrap it, it sounds like the colour scheme should look stunning though!

Thanks it's not been a easy decision going with the wrap but the business come first plus we don't do many classics through the door so looking forward to the challenge and if the wrap does nothing for the car I'll remove it but I'm confident we can pull it off.

See no harm in that mate, protect that paint and have a great colour combo too - with the option of going back to standard if you ever want.

Look forward to seeing the pics of this one

Went along to the local meet (Scottish vag dundee) for some inspiration and I came across this fine example, never got a chance to speak to the owner but if he's on here I would love to get a better look and maybe some knowledge of what and what not to do.
